CBD Gummiees Buyer's Checklist
Our founder wants to help you make informed decisions when shopping for CBD gummies, from any brand. Watch the video to see the buyer's guide checklist as well as immediate red flags.
The Kyoto Botanicals Framework
- The Label: Look for infused gummies, make sure it says the extract type, has a way to check the CoA, and a supplement facts table is a must.
- The Packaging: While our gummies are THC-free, we still use child-proof packaing. If the gummies are not in a child-sage jar, move on to another brand.
- Product Reviews: Don't be fooled by review count: make sure the reviews are natural sounding, aren't all from one day, and are from veerified buyers.

Hey, y'all. Quick Founders' follow-up to the gummy deep dive I did earlier today on our CBD gummies. So, just wanted to to follow up with a quick kind of shopping guide buyer checklist for what to look for when you're buying CBD gummies.
Um so, number one is the labeling on the package. So, really take your time and look at it. Um you want to see uh hemp extract types, whether it's full spectrum, isolate, or broad spectrum like we use, so you know what you're getting in terms of entourage effect, whether it has THC or not, and just whether the company's trustworthy and transparent in what they're putting in it. Um you want to see the supplement facts panel. Um so, this isn't a FDA-regulated category, so you can get away without doing that. It's not good practice. So, make sure that's on there indicating how much hemp extract, how much CBD is in there, sugar, fat, all the usual stuff. Um and you want a QR code on the label or some sort of way to link to the published batch results that should be clear and easy. Um so, you can make sure that what you're paying for is what you're actually getting and that the product is clean.
Um a child safety cap is a really important feature um for CBD gummies. We have one on ours even though we do THC-free. Um they are gummy products, so they, you know, kids love gummies. Um so, especially if you're getting a full spectrum product, um which can have up to 1 mg of THC per gummy, that's really important. Um look at the ingredient statement. Make sure that there's nothing hiding in there. Um we list out every ingredient we put in there. Um so, just trying to be transparent, living the brand in everything we do. Um we don't have anything to hide. We try to do everything as close to nature as possible, so we list it all clearly and cleanly on the label.
Um and then finally, just look into the brands a little bit. See if there's customer reviews on the product. Do they look real? Does it look like a natural, real rhythm of of customer reviews being posted? Um you know, if there's a hundred in one particular day or a large number that all look kind of generic, uh that might have been a campaign to to pay people to do it or some sort of system like that. So, just make sure that it's kind of a natural review pattern and natural um way people are talking about the product, like they're actually purchasers of the product and users of the product. Um check if they're verified buyers. Um we use a service that that tells you if somebody actually bought the product and then left a review, they get a little verified check mark. So, that's an important piece, too.
Um so, that's it. That's kind of the main checklist for what to look for when you're shopping for CBD gummies. Hopefully, that helps you out when you're whether you're searching online or out in a retail environment picking up boxes, so you kind of know what you're looking for.
