My favorite cocktail, but since I quit alcohol in 2023, I have developed a functional mushroom mocktail version to support support my rest, not force it.
Prep time: 5 mins | Yields: 1 Mocktail
Ingredients
- 3/4 teaspoon (re)GROUND Mushroom + Cacao Adaptogenic Brew
- 1 ounce decaf espresso (or 1 tsp espresso powder in 2oz hot water)
- 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
- 1/2 pod vanilla bean, inside scraped into shaker
- 8 ounces unsweetened oat milk (or milk of choice)
- Ice
Instructions
- 1. Shake: Combine adaptogen brew, espresso, maple, vanilla, and ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously for one minute to get out the last bit of stress from the day.
- 2. Chill: Fill your favorite glass with ice and pour the espresso mixture over it.
- 2. Layer: Gently pour the oat milk over the top. Stir slightly for a marbled effect.
